Impermanence
It's been a difficult weekend and something I couldn't have even imagined. My little kitten Blake became critically ill and passed away. It was an unbearable amount of pain and my friends and family helped me beyond imagination, expectations, and need. But that brought to my notice how pain works? All that was going on in this life, my kittens screaming at the top of their lungs, clinging to me, and their insatiable hunger - I took it all for granted. I never for once could have imagined that it won't be the same always. Actually speaking, no two moments are the same. The present moment needs to be cherished. Every bond is appreciated, reciprocated to its best, and strengthened as much as we can. Impermanence: It's only a question of when and not if. With this in the background, we can't just give up loving altogether. No that's not necessary, not possible, and neither good for us. We have to love, love hardest but as soon as the moment is over we have to let...
