Providence- the cosmos.

Providence We neither use this word too often nor do we(truly) know what it means. But today an incident absolutely random in its occurrence, ordinary in nature and, fairly unpredictable made me introspect, inspect and, understand this word to some extent. We have a stray/pet kitty, we call it B illu , and well there is nothing too great about her though. She is small, slightly undernourished( we are not at fault), lean with brown-black speckled thin fur coat which is soft. Her being a cat obviously makes her a little self-centered, too full of herself and, generally uninterested. It is very obvious that her visits are mainly for food and she allows me to pet her as a bonus. She usually is a morning person//kitty and our day starts by feeding her, but today she turned up in the evening and delightfully surprised us. Sitting there petting her and watching it drink its milk(purely uninterested in me), something beautiful struck me. The concept is of divine providence which exists f...

Disagreement...Disappointment...Discomfort...Disdain...Dismay Are any other permutations impossible for this chain of interpretations? A very difficult yet frequently encountered event is that of a disagreement. A mere dissection would reveal the meaning of the word- a point where two viewpoints/ opinions/ choices do not hold hands. But since childhood, the first disagreement we encounter is with our parents who are the highest authority figures in our life then and will continue to be so ever since. This "disagreement" quickly gets confused with a bad, unpleasant action/ event, irrespective of the fact if it's voluntary or involuntary. Let's call it by a nickname of D, well this D then rapidly exponentially reduces our chances of any kind of approvals, fondness, or even extra chocolates. Approval hence turns out to be inversely proportional to the number of D we may have in any relationship. So that begins a new journey altogether of pretense, pain, and punishment....

Strict lessons or kind lessons? Or Both??

It's been a while wondering if we learn better by the whip or by love...Well, I can't seem to understand the answer right away. If we dwell deeper into the question it somehow reminds me of the ying-yang theory, can black exist without white?? I had a horrible experience being taught by cruel words and being a sensitive person, every word hit me, cut me like a knife or maybe it hurt me and my ego. When words are kind they help us and soothe our ego. But can kindness lead to growth? Is there can any place for kindness at work? Is kindness the same as weakness? Or cowardice? or leniency?   I seem to reach a middle path where every action seems to make sense. I am not here to endorse adult cartoon series but the basic principle of Taoism is caught so well by the "Rick and Morty" episode where an earth saving superhero ends up killing people in her unidirectional passion to a point of crazy mindset which was kept in check by the greed of some of her people. Well, I guess...
