Providence- the cosmos.
Providence
We neither use this word too often nor do we(truly) know what it means. But today an incident absolutely random in its occurrence, ordinary in nature and, fairly unpredictable made me introspect, inspect and, understand this word to some extent. We have a stray/pet kitty, we call it Billu, and well there is nothing too great about her though. She is small, slightly undernourished( we are not at fault), lean with brown-black speckled thin fur coat which is soft. Her being a cat obviously makes her a little self-centered, too full of herself and, generally uninterested. It is very obvious that her visits are mainly for food and she allows me to pet her as a bonus. She usually is a morning person//kitty and our day starts by feeding her, but today she turned up in the evening and delightfully surprised us. Sitting there petting her and watching it drink its milk(purely uninterested in me), something beautiful struck me. The concept is of divine providence which exists for each one of us. Cosmos has created a way for all of us to have food, love and, shelter. She would seem like an ordinary cat, no special breed, no shiny thick, pure white fur coat, no chubby habitus to lure more and, no selfless behavior. Yet she has us, we love her and honestly, we have no reason! We just love to watch her feed itself and then move on. Nothing in it for us though and yet I feel connected and content.
So, Instead of all that is advertised- where a woman gets married due to her fair face, slim waist or even glossy lipstick is absurd! I realized an average kitty(person) deserves and receives her full quota of love and food! This term average is gifted by mankind to itself. In fact, every comparative adjective that has been described has been unidentifiably detrimental to us and our culture.
Ever wondered if a cat has doubts about being a cat? about gathering food? whether she wakes up in the morning and curses god/higher power and demands a taller neck like a giraffe?
Try to understand how we are given enough skill, mind, intention, intuition, and strength to endure each and every event in our lives. A mind works best in thoughts of abundance and cannot work on the principle of negation. Imagine we are traveling in the desert, we cannot start assuming that there is no water in this desert and even if it does exist, we will never find it. This principle is unhelpful and doesn't guide us to anything, other than suicide.
Feel gratitude towards Providence.
Extra-ordinarily ordinary!
